The people who apply for Kurdish education to Yüksekova KURDİ-DER (Kurdish Language Research and Development Association) increased with the debades of “double language”.
The manager of the association, Besim Baykal, mentioned that the previous situation of uncertainty replaced by 600 participant which has a wide age and occupational distribution. In previous years, participants were worried about being there by the effect of forces. However, now the situation is totally changed. Also it is added that “The project is very significant to develop Kurdish language and to make effect to media. The state did not help for solving the situation with their attitudes, rather it strength the problem. For the solution of Kurdish problem, mother-tongue education is essential”.
