The representatives of the Civil Society Development Centre and No Constitution Without Us Platform had a meeting with the Constitutional Reconciliation Commission.
“No Constitution without Us” meeting
80 representatives from 62 organizations participated in “No Constitution without Us” meeting held on December 17 by the Association of Civil Society Development Centre with support of the Olof Palme Centre. In the meeting, works to prepare a road map were performed so as to increase participation of non- governmental organizations in the process of civil constitution.

100 NGOs who believe in the necessity of a civil, pluralistic, equalitarian, libertarian, democratic, participatory and ecological constitution held a march to Turkish Grand National Assembly. A symbolic model of a Constitution was left in front of the Assembly and demands were revealed out to law makers.
STGM met Doms in Antakya
STGM carried out a needs-based training activity with the Association for Research and Development of Social Assistance and Solidarity in Dom Tribe Culture, the only Dom organization in Çukurova region and Antakya.
Pre-grant meetings were held!
Within the context of the grant programs, “Empowering Civil Participation at Local Level”, and “Developing Civil Dialogue among NGOs”, pre-grant meetings were held by STGM between 11 May and 1 June 2010. The meetings were held in Ankara, Eskişehir, Bursa, Adana, Diyarbakır, Batman, Erzincan, Denizli, Van, İstanbul, and Sinop and representatives of NGOs were informed about program conditions and application procedures by STGM and Central Finance and Contracts Unit officials.
