EU funded project enhances life skills of children

A recently conducted EU-funded project has proved a successful means in contributing to the personal development and communication skills of children living in Turkey, becoming a bridge between the children and adults in this respect.

“I can now better express myself to people. Most importantly, I learned a lot on how to deal with stress,” said Ayten Yaşayan, a physically impaired student who was trained as part of the project.

A reference book for NGOs to work with JPWGs

The new book of over 500 pages and titled "Basic Consepts of Turkish Parliamentary Law" written by Dr. Irfan Neziroglu -Laws and Decrees Director of Turkish Parliament, also the president of YASADER association- has been published by Seckin Publishing company. It is a very important reference book for all, especailly NGOs to co-operate with Joint Parliamentary Working Groups. It is also a reader- friendly book with its encyclopedic structure and alphabetic order. The most important adventage of the book is that it brings theory and practice together.
