İlk Fırsat (First Chance) Programme offers employment for new graduates

The Şevket Sabancı Vision First Opportunity Program, which provides equal opportunities for young graduates from state universities that are not sufficiently recognized by employers to transition from school to working life, will offer 50 more young people their first job opportunity in civil society in its 10th year. Young people can apply for positions announced by 33 civil society organizations participating in the program until June 22.

Applications for the program will be accepted between May 12 and June 22. Between July 7 and August 15, professional evaluations designed specifically for recent graduates will be conducted online to assess the potential of young people.

Candidates accepted into the program will be announced in the third week of August. Young people participating in the program will work full-time at designated NGOs for 12 months and also attend training sessions at the First Opportunity Academy.

Candidates applying to the First Opportunity Program with the Vision of Şevket Sabancı must:

  • Have graduated from a state university in June 2024 or later,
  • Have a diploma grade of at least 2.5 on a 4-point scale or at least 65 on a 100-point scale,
  • Have no prior full-time work experience,
  • Have completed all graduation requirements by September 1, 2025, to begin work.

Additionally, during the application evaluation process, young individuals who have voluntarily participated in civil society organizations or club activities will be given priority.
