The Rights Project is Waiting for Your Participation in the Survey "Discrimination Perceptions of Young University Students"

The project "Empowering University Youth to Develop the Human Rights of Young People from Vulnerable Groups", whose short name is the "Rights Project", aims to empower university students in the context of discrimination and human rights under the European Union's European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (DIHAA).

The project, implemented by Youth Services Centre Association (GSM), Mardin Joint Women's Cooperation Association (MOKİD) and Uğur Mumcu Investigative Journalism Foundation (um:ag), aims to establish connections based on equality and zero discrimination among university students aged 18-25 through Human Rights Watch Meetings and Human Rights Watch Workshop.

The Rights Project University Student Youth Perception of Discrimination Survey targets women in the context of discrimination, hate speech, hate crimes, and gender-based violence across Turkey, particularly in the project's pilot provinces such as Ankara, Diyarbakır, Hatay, İstanbul, İzmir, Mardin, and Mersin. It is conducted to measure young people's perceptions of discrimination and human rights violations against people from LGBTI+ and religious/belief groups. The survey study has the character of observational and descriptive research. The data obtained will be included in the monitoring report that will be produced as part of the project.

Completion of the questionnaire will make an important contribution to combating discrimination, hate speech, hate crimes and gender-based violence. Completing and disseminating the questionnaire is extremely valuable for the work in this context.

No personal information is requested in the survey. It is of great importance that the participants fill out the questionnaire completely and provide correct information.
