According to the report, about 2 out of 3 Roma youth are discriminated against in education.

The report, based on the results of interviews (97 questionnaires, 8 in-depth interviews) with 105 Roma youth aged 15-25 from 8 different provinces in Turkey (Diyarbakır, Edirne, Hatay, Istanbul, Izmir, Gaziantep, Uşak and Artvin), shows that Roma youth have a high dropout rate from school.

Another important piece of information that emerged from the monitoring study was the employment rate of young people. More than half of the young people surveyed in the study are not employed. The report noted that the low level of education and exclusion/discrimination in finding a job and in the work environment are the reasons for the lack of employment among Roma youth. It was found that young people who were employed faced discrimination in their work environment.
