Civil Society Development Center (Sivil Toplum Geliştirme Merkezi Derneği - STGM) was founded in the year 2004 by a group of opinion leaders and activists who believed in the importance of civil society for the development of participatory democracy in our country.
STGM;
- employs all methods which are legal, and in compliance with its stance, objectives and fundamental principles.
- considers the development of strategy and tactics as well as action plans essential as a continuous methodological preference to translate its perspectives into actuality.
- uses measurable indicators in regards to the evaluation of the projects' implementation, outcomes and impacts.
- follows planning processes based on participation and joint decision making in identifying needs and methods of implementation.
