Ecology Collective: Opinions on the EML and the Bill on Amending Certain Laws

Ecology Collective has published a legal report in which it draws attention to the fact that the amendment provisions, which will become a domestic law rule, will create an environment of lack of control, with the Law on the Amendment of the Electricity Market Law and Some Laws.

The report, in which the proposal is evaluated as a whole in terms of energy policy and law, reveals the necessity of planning energy policies in an integrated manner with foreign policy, security policy, economic policy, agricultural and industrial policies, education policy, transportation policy, and environmental policy. In the report, it is stated that the draft law tries to solve the increasing energy need by relying on domestic coal and renewable energy resources, while at the same time it imposes rules of law and makes the permits and inspections that ensure sustainable living conditions dysfunctional, and provides detailed information on the articles in the text of the law.
