The conference titled “2024 Transformation of Journalism and Searches” will take place on April 26-27, 2024 at the Litai Hotel, Ankara TBB Guest House.
Day 1 of the conference is planned as 3 separate sessions to be held after the opening speeches and will be devoted to current issues in the field of journalism. Palestinian journalist Hasan Tahravi and EFJ Secretary General Ricardo Gutierrez are the prominent speakers of the day.
The first day will also include sessions on “Artificial Intelligence and the Media”, “Challenging Conditions of Journalism”, “Media and Women”, “Changing Journalism with New Media Tools”, “Media and Law”, “Why has Expert Journalism Disappeared?”, as well as the presentation of the Media Monitoring and Professional Satisfaction Survey reports prepared within the scope of the Project.
On the second day of the conference, 3 workshops will be held in 2 separate sessions on the changing definition and legal basis of the journalism profession. Prominent names from the field and academia will participate in the sessions titled “Journalism as a profession”, “Legal Status of Journalism (Media Law Framework)”, “Working life and needs of journalists (Labor Law Framework)”.
