“Access of Youth to Urban Rights Again” Project — Applications Now Open

With the support of the Council of Europe and the European Youth Foundation (EYF), the Civil Society Research Association is launching the project “Urban Rights Reclaimed by Youth – Gençlerin Kentsel Haklara Yeniden Erişimi.” The project aims to strengthen the participation of young people in Lüleburgaz in local governance processes and to contribute to making urban spaces more youth-friendly and inclusive.

Young people aged 18–30 who have been living in Lüleburgaz for at least six months and who are motivated to take part in local governance processes are eligible to apply.

Training and participation process

Participants will take part in both in-person and online Capacity Building Trainings on rights-based participation, urban governance, advocacy, human-centered design, and mapping. The trainings will be held in October–November 2025, and participants will be required to attend six in-person and two online sessions.

Following this, in November–December 2025, the “Mapping and Solutions” Workshop will be organized, featuring guided city walks, solution-focused workshops, and online sessions. Young participants will identify challenges related to accessibility and inclusiveness and develop proposals for solutions.

In the final stage, during the Local Advocacy and Dialogue activities in February 2026, participants will present their proposals to local government representatives, fostering dialogue and cooperation.
