The Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) has launched a new application period to support cultural and intercultural activities to be organized in Matera (Italy) and Tétouan (Morocco), which have been selected as the 2026 Mediterranean Capitals of Culture and Dialogue.
Within the scope of the program, a maximum grant of €2,500 will be provided for "Small-scale" projects, and up to €5,000 for "Medium-scale" projects. Supported activities must be non-profit in nature and take place between June and August 2026.
Supported Activities / Fields
- Public, interactive, and intercultural activities that use culture as a means of social inclusion.
- Live performances such as dance and theater, and events reflecting local cultural heritage.
- Visual art installations with interactive components and participatory art workshops.
Eligibility Criteria
- Civil society organizations or other legal entities based in one of the 43 countries of the Euro-Mediterranean region (including Turkey) and active in the field of culture/intercultural dialogue.
- Institutions that have reached a preliminary agreement with a local partner or local government in the city of Matera or Tétouan where the project will be implemented.
- Priority will be given at the evaluation stage to institutions that are members of the ALF Network.
