Applications for the 11th term of the Şevket Sabancı First Chance Program are still open. The program aims to provide equal opportunity for young graduates from state universities that are less known to employers in their transition from school to work. As part of the program, young people gain 12 months of full-time work experience at Turkey’s leading non-governmental organizations, while also benefiting from training, mentorship, and professional development support through the First Chance Academy.
This year, within the scope of the program, 50 more recent graduates will be offered their first job opportunity.
Application deadline: June 21, 2026
Candidates are expected to meet the following criteria to apply.
- Must have graduated from a state university in June 2025 or later
- Must have a GPA of at least 2.50 on a 4.00 scale or at least 65 on a 100-point scale
- Must not have previously worked full-time
- Must be able to start working as of September 1, 2026
Young people who have actively participated in non-governmental organizations or student clubs, are highly motivated for development, and who strive to realize their potential will be given priority during the evaluation process.
