Supported activities / fields
Testing or implementation of local resource mobilization and participatory grantmaking strategies.
Advocacy and awareness-raising activities aimed at solving complex, sensitive, or minority-related issues at the community level (such as women's rights, youth, minority rights, environment, social cohesion, etc.).
Institutional capacity building (governance, communication, sustainability mechanisms, etc.) activities aimed at strengthening institutional resilience as a reliable, grassroots development tool.
Who can apply?
Community foundations, women's funds, environmental funds, national public foundations, and grassroots organizations that provide grants and operate in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Central/Eastern Europe, or Latin America (organizations and community funds operating in Turkey are fully eligible) may apply.
Candidates are expected to base their decision-making processes on the experience and knowledge of the local community and to regard the community as an active source of power.
Application deadline: Rolling
The institution accepts concept notes in English, French, Spanish, etc. throughout the year with no specified deadline.
