Applications are now open for the Development School, launched in partnership with the Istanbul Planning Agency and IDEMA. The 6-week program will address the changing dynamics and current themes of development. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with leading academics and practitioners, and explore different dimensions of development through 12 modules.
Who can apply?
- Professionals working in local governments, public institutions, and civil society organizations
- Young people interested in the field of local development
- Candidates who hold a postgraduate degree in relevant fields but are not currently employed in an institution
- Applications are open from all provinces of Turkey
Application process
- Completing the online application form
- Preliminary review based on evaluation criteria
- Short online interview with shortlisted candidates
- A total of 35 participants will be admitted to the program

- Application deadline: August 30, 2025
- Announcement of results: September 8, 2025
- Program start date: September 15, 2025
- Training format: Hybrid (IPA Campus, Florya & online)
