Applications are now open for the Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme, which aims to contribute to building the necessary administrative capacity in the field of EU acquis by increasing the number of experts in this area, within the framework of Türkiye’s goal of full membership to the European Union. Approximately 150 scholarships are planned to be awarded for the 2026–2027 academic year.
The Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme, open to anyone wishing to specialize in EU acquis, accepts applications from:
- Public sector employees (including those working in professional organizations established by law or presidential decree, chambers, local administrations such as municipalities and provincial administrations, development agencies, public development and investment banks, public deposit banks, etc.)
- Private sector employees (including those working in civil society organizations and resident foreign missions)
- Academic or administrative staff of universities
- University students in their final year of undergraduate studies or pursuing postgraduate studies (master’s or doctoral level)
