The award program aims to make visible and support feminist climate initiatives that incorporate a gender equality and women's rights perspective into climate policies and actions.
Each of the three initiatives selected within the scope of the program will receive a cash prize of 5,000 euros. A representative from each winning project will be provided with full travel support and mentorship to attend the award ceremony at the COP31 Climate Summit to be held in Antalya in November 2026.
What kind of work can apply?
Applications will be accepted under three categories:
- Technical Climate Solutions: Gender-sensitive solutions in areas such as renewable energy, water management, food systems, waste reduction, and digital innovation.
- Non-Technical Climate Solutions: Initiatives focused on behavior change, capacity building, education, knowledge sharing, and community engagement.
- Transformative Climate Initiatives: Projects that challenge structural inequalities and patriarchal norms; targeting institutional, administrative, or social transformation.
Organizations and initiatives integrating gender equality and women's rights into their climate policies and actions may apply to the award program. Applications are free of charge.
