Unlike traditional grant programs, "Generations: Global Grant" minimizes bureaucratic obstacles and believes in the potential of young people to create solutions, and is now accepting applications from students all around the world. The program, recognizing the fact that children and young people are often left out of solutions, aims to make them the direct agents of change.
Projects are expected to focus on one (or both) of the following goals:
- Prevention: Preventing child and youth abuse (physical, emotional, sexual, etc.).
- Support: Supporting recovery processes for children and young people who have been victims of abuse.
Who can apply?
- Students: Students of any age in primary school, secondary school, high school, university, or postgraduate education.
- Homeschool: Students not in formal education can also apply.
- Individual or Team: Applications can be submitted individually or as a team.
Note: Having "student" status is a fundamental requirement for applicants.
Grant amount
The program offers a flexible budget structure based on the needs of the project.
Upper Limit: A total of 100,000 USD per team or individual.
Average Support: For successful multi-year projects, the average support provided in the past has been around 74,000 USD. However, smaller-scale seed projects are also encouraged.
Application process and evaluation
Step: Clearly explain your idea by answering only 7 basic questions (and 21 optional questions, if any).
Step: Successful candidates will be invited for an interview.
There is no application fee.
Application deadline: The program is open throughout the year (Rolling basis) and applications are reviewed every two months.

How to apply?
Applications are submitted in English through a simple online form on the I-EDI website. It is important that you clearly explain the direct impact of your idea on victims in the form.
