Launched in August 2025 under the leadership of Hayat Sende Association, Malatya Association for the Support of Care Leavers, Istanbul Foster Care Association, and Our Children Youth Academy, the Alternative Care Network will host participating organizations with observer status during the first two years. In this period, the network’s future structure will be shaped collectively.
Institutions whose areas of work align with the goals of the network are invited to apply for membership. Applications will be assessed based on their compatibility with the network’s fields of work and principles.
The network is open to applications from:
- Organizations working with children and young people in state care
- Organizations working in the field of foster care and adoption
- CSOs carrying out activities for children and young people in care, even if not directly engaged with them
- Informal groups and initiatives (without legal entity) working with the above-mentioned groups
