The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Eastern Europe and Central Asia Regional Office (EECARO) has begun accepting expressions of interest from civil society organizations and networks to collaborate on the implementation of the 2026–2029 Regional Programme.
Purpose of the Programme
The Regional Programme, to be carried out in line with UNFPA’s strategic plan, aims to contribute to the following four key objectives:

Purpose of the Programme
The Regional Programme, to be carried out in line with UNFPA’s strategic plan, aims to contribute to the following four key objectives:
- Meeting the need for family planning,
- Ending preventable maternal deaths,
- Ending gender-based violence and harmful practices,
- Adapting to demographic change.
It is expected that the partners selected as part of the programme will contribute to UNFPA in areas such as technical expertise, advocacy, resource mobilization, research, and creating an enabling environment for impact.
Who Can Apply?
Organizations applying to this call must meet the following criteria:
- Regional presence (mandatory): Have established partnerships and actual presence in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region (including Türkiye).
- Experience: Have strong technical expertise in relevant fields such as Health, Education, Gender, and Protection, with thorough knowledge of regional dynamics.
- UN experience: Prior experience working with UN agencies is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
Priority sectors include Sexual and Reproductive Health, Gender Equality, Youth Engagement, Emergency Response, Disability, and Inclusion.

Application Process
Applications will be submitted through the UN Partner Portal (UNPP). Interested CSOs need to fill out the Expression of Interest form and submit the Concept Note template via the portal.
