Within the scope of the project “Awareness and Training Program on Child Protection through University–NGO Cooperation,” implemented by the Young Volunteers Association with the support of the Directorate General for Relations with Civil Society of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Türkiye and in partnership with Istanbul University Child Protection Research and Application Center, a symposium on “Developing Innovative Methods in Multidisciplinary Approaches to Cases of Sexual Abuse” will be held.
The event will take place on 20–21 September 2025 at Istanbul University Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Congress Center. The symposium will bring together academics, health professionals, lawyers, forensic medicine experts, social workers, civil society representatives, and students.
Participation is limited to 100 people. Applications for the symposium are open until 15 September 2025. Participants from outside Istanbul are welcome; however, no travel or accommodation support will be provided.
