EU TACSO 3 is organising training programme on Emergency Response: CSOs’ Response to Complex Humanitarian Crisis for civil society organisations (CSOs) in the Western Balkans and Turkey (WBT). This comprehensive training programme encompasses two training modules that will take place in November and December 2020.
Each training module will, take the form of a three-day hands-on training with practical know-how transfer by an experienced emergency response expert in the field, in order to:
- Provide participants with sufficient knowledge to be able to assess and identify existing capacities, local resources and coping strategies to develop locally appropriate and locally “owned” mechanisms to respond in emergency and crisis situations;
- Provide space for exchange of experiences, practices and know-how among CSOs in emergency response;
- Instigate networking and collaboration among CSOs on emergency response;
- Identify any additional support CSOs need to better cope with and respond to emergency situation.
Both training modules will be conducted on-line (via Zoom platform).
The first training module will take place on 18, 19 and 20 November, three working days, 6 hours each. Interested CSOs should apply by filling in and submitting the Application form by Thursday, 12 November 2020, 17:00hrs CET.
The second training module will take place on 9, 10 and 11 December, three working days, 6 hours each. Interested CSOs should apply by filling in and submitting the Application form by Thursday, 12 November 2020, 17:00hrs CET.
