The Youth in the Word Project campaign, which aims to strengthen meaningful and inclusive participation of young people in local decision-making processes, is seeking support from young people. The “Your Story, Your City's Story” campaign aims to make young people's dreams, ideas, and suggestions about the cities they live in visible, with the goal of strengthening democratic participation at the local level.
Ways to participate in the campaign
- Future Capsule: Young people can share their dreams and suggestions about their cities in written, audio, or video format.
- Visual Assembly: They can contribute to the city vision by submitting their own designs.
- Online Platform: They can exchange ideas with other young people and participate in interactive discussions.

About the Word is with Youth Project
Launched in January 2025, the Word is with Youth Project is supported under the Grant Program of the Strengthening Civil Participation for the Development of Democratic Local Governance in Turkey Project (Civil Participation Project) implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). The project is implemented under the leadership of the Youth Services Center, in partnership with Mezitli Municipality and Seferihisar Municipality.
