
Program objective
The call aims to strengthen the advocacy, knowledge production, and networking capacities of international disability organizations in the field of health equity. Projects to be implemented between August and December 2025 will pursue two main objectives:
Strengthening the capacity of OPDs in the field of health equity
- Developing specialized information materials and tools for disability organizations
- Organizing at least 15 accessible online seminars covering the six WHO regions
Documenting and disseminating experiences in health equity
- Collecting stories (with photo/video support) from people with disabilities in 10 different countries
- Sharing this content internationally and ensuring visibility
Application requirements
Minimum requirements
- Be an international disability organization (OPD)
- Have access to global/regional OPD networks
- Have direct experience in health equity
- Have the capacity to organize accessible webinars
- Experience in developing advocacy messages
Preferred qualifications
- Previous collaborations with WHO
- Experience working with disability organizations in the field of health
- Participation in national or international advocacy projects
Timeline
- August 2025: Preparation of informational materials
- September–December 2025: Webinars, case studies, and dissemination activities
