Central Finance and Procurement Unit Publishes Its First Corporate Sustainability Report

The Central Finance and Procurement Unit (MFİB) has published its first report on corporate sustainability. The 2024 Corporate Sustainability Report outlines the steps taken by MFİB in the areas of environment, social, and governance, as well as its future goals.

The report covers a wide range of topics, from environmentally friendly practices to inclusive workplace policies, ethical management principles, and digital transformation processes.

The report also provides information on the work carried out by MFIB under the European Union's Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) Programs. The report states that the Unit has a contract award rate of 98.4% for all tenders successfully completed under the 2020 Annual Program.

It was also reported that the procurement and expenditure verification processes for the €400 million grant provided under the European Union Solidarity Fund (EUSF) following the February 2023 earthquakes were successfully carried out by MFİB. It was also stated that projects included in the IPA Earthquake Package, which was created from unused funds in the 2014 and 2015 annual programs under the IPA-II period, were contracted and the entire 57 million euro fund was implemented for use in the earthquake zone.
