The Change Ambassadors Program, carried out by the Association for Regenerative Economy to strengthen the fight against the climate crisis and make climate justice demands more visible in various cities across Turkey, continues with Antalya. The program aims to empower young people studying at universities in Antalya in the fields of climate justice, advocacy, and campaigning by bringing them together.
Within the scope of the program;
- Establishing a youth community that comes together around common goals, learns together, and acts together,
- Including at least 15 young people from universities in Antalya in the program,
- Supporting participants on climate justice, effective communication, campaigning, advocacy, and building relationships with decision-makers,
- Conveying young people’s demands to local and national climate policies, especially during the COP31 process, and ensuring direct contact with decision-makers,
- Creating opportunities for experience sharing and peer learning with Change Ambassadors teams operating in different provinces of Turkey.
The Change Ambassadors Antalya Program will continue until December 2026. A key component of the program is the in-person meeting to be held in Antalya on February 14–15, 2026, while most of the trainings will be conducted online. In November, during the COP31 process, participants are expected to be in Antalya for meetings, events, and advocacy activities. Participants who successfully complete the program will be eligible to receive a Change Ambassador Certificate.
Candidates wishing to apply for the program must:
- Be enrolled in universities in Antalya,
- Upload a short introduction video of no more than 2 minutes as part of the application.
When selecting participants, gender balance, ethnic diversity, and equitable distribution will be considered.
