Cinema Facilitation Training for Youth from AFS Volunteers Association

AFS Volunteers Association will hold Cinema Facilitation Training for Youth, the first activity of the 'SİNEZEMİN - Intercultural Short Film for Young People Project', in Darıca on 14-19 June.

The event will be held with 15 young participants between the ages of 18-29 who are studying in the Cinema-TV and media departments of universities, volunteering or interning in civil society organizations in culture and arts, or who are interested in cinema and want to take an active role in civil society.

Application deadline: Monday, June 6, 1 p.m.

15 young people participating in the event will act as facilitators in one step of the Intercultural Short Film Workshops to be implemented in İzmir, Eskişehir, and Hakkari in July as part of the SİNEZEMİN - Intercultural Short Film for Youth Project. Young people, who will prepare by a supervisor to train young between the ages of 15-18, will create the content of the training together and shoot short films with young participants in İzmir, Hakkari, and Eskişehir. At the end of the project, all the films shot will meet the audience in İzmir, Hakkari, and Eskişehir.

Who Can Apply?

  • Young people between the ages of 18-29.
  • Young people who want to be trainers and/or facilitators
  • Facilitators, volunteers, and all civil society youth workers who want to use cinema and its elements effectively in civil society activities.

Young people studying in media, Cinema-TV, and related departments of universities or have just graduated and want to take an active role in civil society.
