- Place of Work and Location: She/he will work in the Ankara office, reporting to the Capacity Building Coordinator within the STGM Information Center.
Job Description
- Preparing a work plan for the Information Center within the scope of capacity building activities, carrying out and reporting activities in line with the plan,
- Preparing information notes in line with developments in the field of civil society law, organizing events such as webinars, seminars and workshops,
- To evaluate the requests of civil society organizations for support and consultancy in the field of civil society law by e-mail, telephone or face-to-face and to provide the necessary support,
- Contributing to the preparation of documents, handbooks and guidelines for civil society organizations,
- To support monitoring and advocacy work in the field of freedom of association,
- Advising project and association management on legal issues.
Qualifications and experience
- To be a graduate of law faculty,
- At least 7 years of work experience,
- At least 2 years of experience in civil society organizations,
- At least 1 year of experience in the implementation of EU funded projects,
- To have experience in legal regulations concerning civil society organizations and freedom of association,
- It is preferable to have written theses, reports, legal evaluations, etc. on legal regulations concerning civil society organizations and freedom of association.
- English proficiency in written and oral communication.
