Closure meeting of the Networking and Integration Project: Work carried out in 7 regions is coming to an end

The Network Building and Unification Project, carried out in collaboration between the Uğur Mumcu Investigative Journalism Foundation (um:ag) and the Olof Palme International Center, is nearing its end. During the project, significant steps were taken to promote a rights-based approach and to strengthen awareness of human rights and democracy by bringing together civil society organizations, journalists, activists, and academics in seven regions of Turkey.

The project, which aims to foster the sharing of experiences among actors from different disciplines, the development of a culture of collaboration, and the establishment of local solidarity networks, has contributed to the empowerment of civil society and increased participation in democratic processes. The outcomes of the activities and regional experiences will be shared with all participants at the closing meeting to be held.

The closing meeting covering all regions of the program will be held online on December 19, 2025. Everyone who participated in the activities carried out in Central Anatolia, Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia, Southeastern Anatolia, Aegean, Mediterranean, and Marmara regions is invited to this closing event.
