The PSEA Outreach Fund, run by the International Civil Society Organizations Coordination Alliance (ICVA) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), has announced its 2025 call for applications to support community-based projects aimed at preventing sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA). The PSEA Outreach Fund aims to raise community awareness of the risks of sexual exploitation and abuse by humanitarian aid workers and to strengthen the visibility of mechanisms that encourage the safe reporting of such cases.
Eligibility and Priorities
Organizations with the following characteristics are eligible to apply for the program:
- Civil society organizations operating at the local and national levels
- CSOs with experience in PSEA, particularly those led by women
- Organizations working in the fields of humanitarian aid, crisis response, and displacement
Eligible Countries
Applications are open for 22 countries, including Turkey. Afghanistan, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Haiti, Madagascar, Mali, Myanmar, Niger, Nigeria, Occupied Palestinian Territory, Pakistan, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Turkey, Ukraine, Yemen, Zimbabwe
Evaluation and Application Process
Applications will be evaluated by an independent committee composed of experts from ICVA and UNHCR.
