Conflict Resolution Project for Coexistence Looking for Participants

The Civil Society Studies Association is seeking participants for the Conflict Resolution Project for Coexistence.

The project will provide 20 youth workers and youth activists with 8 days of online training to gain theoretical knowledge about Conflict, Conflict Analysis, Theory of Change, Advocacy and Youth Participation. Then, participants will be asked to apply the analytical tools and skills they have acquired to analyze the conflicts in which the participating CSOs are involved. At the end of the 3-day face-to-face training, where participants will build a network of youth CSOs and prepare workshops, they will be expected to create action plans and then share their knowledge, achievements and action plans with other members and activists in their organizations.

Who Can Apply?

Members of civil society organizations that conduct rights-based activities in the field of youth ages 18-30,
Who are highly motivated to resolve internal conflicts,
Members, volunteers, staff, activists in a rights-based civil society organization.

**Online training sessions will be held 2 days per week in February, after work hours, in the evenings.
In-person training program will be held March 3-5.

**Project participants are expected to voluntarily attend 80% of the online and in-person training sessions.

**Applications will be evaluated in order of application date.

About Conflict Resolution for Coexistence: Capacity Building Training for CSOs and Activists Project

The project aims to address increasing polarization and its impact on civil society and youth participation by providing youth workers and activists across Turkey with information, understanding, and new tools for conflict analysis and resolution, as well as guidelines for conflict analysis and resolution for civil society organizations in Turkey. The goal is to facilitate the development of action plans and internal training plans for conflict in the public sphere of civil society organizations, and ultimately to strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations and their members and activists who conduct rights-based activities in the youth sphere.
