As part of the United Nations International Year of Cooperatives, the “Cooperatives and Artificial Intelligence Conference,” hosted by the Platform Cooperatives Consortium (PCC) and Needs Map, will take place at the Istanbul Planning Agency (IPA) Florya Campus from November 11–14, 2025. The international conference aims to develop fair, democratic, and participatory models in the digital economy.
A fair, democratic, and participatory digital future
The Platform Cooperatives Consortium (PCC) is a global organization that has been developing alternative models based on cooperative values in the digital economy since 2009. In 2025, Needs Map, one of the founding partners of PCC, will host this important gathering in Istanbul.
Throughout the conference, cooperative representatives, academics, and civil society experts from different countries will come together to discuss how artificial intelligence can be reshaped with cooperative principles.
