Corporate Empowerment" Support for Human Rights Organizations

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Network (EuroMed Rights) has launched the "Organizational Support Program" to support human rights organizations struggling in Turkey's shrinking civic space. The program aims not only to ensure the survival of organizations, but also to strengthen them strategically.

What does the program include?

The selected organizations will benefit from the following support over a period of 12 to 18 months.

  • Financial Support: Grants that can be used for the institutional needs of the organization (rent, staff salaries, expert support, etc.).
  • Capacity Building: Tailored training in areas where the organization needs support (advocacy, communication, resource development).
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Expert support accompanying the organization throughout the process.
  • Networking: Access to and experience sharing within EuroMed Rights’ broad international network.

Who can apply?

  • Human Rights Organizations: Associations and foundations working in the fields of human rights, democracy, rule of law, gender equality, or refugee rights in Turkey.
  • Grassroots Organizations: Initiatives that have not yet completed their institutionalization.

Priority: Organizations working especially in rural areas (outside Ankara/Istanbul) and those with less access to resources are given priority.

  • Diversification of funding sources (fundraising strategy).
  • Establishing digital security infrastructure.
  • Intra-team psychosocial support (well-being) mechanisms.
