CultureCIVIC: Open Call from the Culture and Arts Support Program

CultureCIVIC: Culture and Arts Support Program, which aims to strengthen civil society activities in the field of culture and arts in Turkey, made its second open call for the Inter-City Networking Development Grant Program. Focusing on the development of dialogue and cooperation between different actors beyond the main cultural centers such as Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir, the grant program encourages decentralized interaction and networking throughout Turkey.

CultureCIVIC: Culture and Art Support Program, a European Union project realized in partnership with Goethe-Institut Istanbul, Anadolu Kültür, Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), Institut Français Turkey and Danish Culture Institute Turkey office, in cooperation with the Dutch Embassy in Turkey, aims to strengthen civil society activities in the field.

Within the scope of CultureCIVIC: Culture and Art Support Program, the grant programs that will allocate a large space to artists, new cultural formations, and actors that exist outside the metropolitan cities, aim to contribute to the development of dialogue, cooperation, and communication in the field of culture and arts in different regions of Turkey. While evaluating the applicant projects, priority will be given to the projects that support right-based activities; bringing together actors from different ethnic, religious and linguistic backgrounds; activities that focus on gender equality, LGBTI+ rights, social cohesion, human rights, freedom of expression, and children's rights.
