CultureCIVIC: Structural Support Grant Program Fifth Open Call

The CultureCIVIC project, financed by the European Union and led by the Goethe-Institut Istanbul, has announced the 5th open call for its Structural Support Grant Program, aiming to contribute to the independent existence and capacity building of organizations operating in the field of culture and arts. Each selected institution will receive a grant of up to 20,000 Euros under the program.

Supported activities/fields

  • Renovation or improvement of project spaces, establishment of new spaces and essential technical equipment.
  • Rental support for permanent performance venues (local theater, gallery, art center, spaces for professional capacity-building teamwork).
  • Training and assignment of experts for digital infrastructure arrangements to increase the organization's accessibility and operational capacity.

Priority Topics

Projects supporting rights-based activities that focus on social cohesion, human rights, freedom of expression, gender equality, LGBTI+ or children's rights will be prioritized. 

Who can apply?

Non-profit civil society organizations and officially registered art formations based in Turkey may apply.  

Applicant institutions must document at least 3 years of activities in the field of culture and arts, while collectives and initiatives must provide documentation for at least 5 years of activities.
