The Direct Aid Program of the Australian Embassy in Turkey has begun accepting applications for the new term. The Direct Aid Program (DAP) is flexible funding that works with local communities in Turkey to reduce poverty and achieve sustainable development, and is consistent with Australia's national interests.
In 2022-23, the DAP Committee is seeking projects that achieve practical and tangible results in the following priority development areas: Education, Health, Projects to Support the Building and Recovery Efforts of Vulnerable Communities from Public Health Risks such as COVID -19, Gender Equality, Economic and Social Empowerment of Women and Girls, Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Youth Empowerment, and STEM.
