The dokuz8AKADEMİ organized Election Journalism Training Program for Local Media and Citizen Reporters will be held in İzmir from November 10 to 12.
The topics of the training program, in which local media organizations, local journalists, citizen journalists, students and representatives of civil society organizations can participate, are as follows:

- The concept of news in the digital age and its transformation,
- How to be successful on Youtube?,
- Video journalism with a mobile focus,
- Election monitoring, detection of violations and reporting,
- The role of local media in the election process?,
- Rights-based approach to news and examples of use in different areas,
- Social media and social media tools for news,
- Fake news and verification in the digital age,
Participation in the training program, which is organized free of charge, is also possible for surrounding cities.
