In line with its principles, the Embassy is particularly interested in Women's Rights and Gender Equality, Children's Rights, Freedom of Expression and Democracy and Peace-building. Projects should aim at long-term transformation. In this context, priority will be given to local associations and local NGOs with in-depth knowledge of Turkish society. Priority will be given to projects located far from major urban centers or in rural areas. All projects related to immigration (including migrants and refugee rights) are outside the scope of this call and will not be considered.
The maximum funding of projects by the Embassy is 200.000TL. This financial support can be used to finance an ongoing activity or a new project, but the entire project must be completed by Friday, November 28, 2025 at the latest.
Applications must be submitted to [email protected] by 23:59 (Turkish time) on Friday, January 31, 2025 in the form of a 1-page project summary and a 1-page budget proposal. The Embassy does not provide any specific project application form, applicants are free to submit a 1-page project summary in any way they wish. However, the 1-page project summary should answer the following questions:
- What (theme of the project, what activities will be carried out? 'Expected results')
- Why (What specific need was addressed, importance of the need, envisaged outcome)
- Who (Information about the implementing organization, partners and beneficiary groups)
- Where and when (location and time frame)
- How much? (Amount needed; an additional document stating the detailed budget of the project must be submitted)
Applicants may submit additional information as they deem necessary. However, a one-page project summary and budget proposal are essential parts of the application. Failure to submit a one-page project summary and budget proposal will result in the application being deemed invalid. The project topic and budget proposal can be submitted in English, Turkish, French or German.
