EU Civil Society Program Opens New Round of Funding

The European Union Civil Society Program has announced a new round of funding for civil society organizations, activists, and independent groups working in the field of rights and freedoms. Applications opened on November 18, and the funding provides financial support or expert matching for projects to be completed within a maximum of six months.

Support will be provided in four main categories this period as well.

  • Reaching more people,
  • Developing new skills,
  • Influencing policymakers,
  • Strengthening capacity.

Civil Society Dialogue provides in-kind support of up to €5,000 for projects aligned with European Union values.

The application system is open

Applications are accepted through the Civil Thought Information System. Since system registration approvals can take up to 5 business days, applicants are advised to start the process early.

Those who want to review and be inspired by projects supported in previous periods can visit the “Get Inspired” section on the program's website.

First meeting on November 21 on Zoom

To help applicants plan the process more easily, the Civil Thought team will be available at the Meeting Point to answer questions. The first informational meeting will take place on Friday, November 21, at 2:00 PM on Zoom. Those wishing to participate need only register online.

The date and details of the next information session will be announced soon on the program's website and social media accounts.
