About TACSO 3
Technical Assistance to Civil Society Organizations in Western Balkans and Turkey (EU TACSO 3) is an EU-funded project in the Western Balkans and Turkey, that aims to strengthen the capacity of civil society organisations (CSOs) to actively take part in the democratic processes and to stimulate an enabling environment for civil society and pluralistic media development.
EU TACSO 3 aims to develop a comprehensive programme of organisational and operational development with a focus on sharing of experiences and lessons learned among different contexts. Thus, the capacity development programme include topics (both at regional and local level) such as: innovative approaches to community development; communication; diversified fund-raising techniques; digital tools; methodologies for CSOs in data collection and data management; mainstreaming rights-based approach and gender-mainstreaming; research, advocacy and policy making; EU accession; sub-granting; good governance; etc. Strategic and organizational development activities will be regularly organised in different locations in the regions and with different implementing modalities (e.g. trainings, trainings of trainers, coaching, internships, etc.).
Likewise, People to People (P2P) Programme aims to provide an opportunity to CSOs to organize regional (multi-beneficiary) and national (single beneficiary) events/activities that can take place in any IPA Beneficiary or EU country. P2P On-demand tool can support different types of events, such as: trainings, conferences, networking events, workshops and forums (thematic and sectoral) coaching and mentoring activities, study visits, etc.
