The European Commission is calling for proposals for the Conflict and climate change Challenge for Peace Building to support security initiatives and peace-building activities in partner countries.

The projects will be funded which aims to provide assistance for conflict prevention, peace-building and crisis preparedness, in this case focusing on climate change and its impact on crises and conflicts affected countries and regions. The action shall have a global mandate and its geographical coverage will focus on areas where climate change and/or climate change adaptation strategies threaten stability and peace.
