The FairWays Foundation, which supports projects based on nature conservation, has announced its new call. The Foundation's focus is on golf and the professional turf and ornamentals sector, prioritising work to support sector stakeholders and local communities.
Within the scope of the call, studies with the following qualifications are supported:
- Projects that include a commitment to reducing the ecological footprint of golf courses or professional turf and ornamental plant areas
- Innovative approaches that aim to go beyond current maintenance practices in these sectors
- Activities with components that benefit local communities
- Works for the protection of existing natural assets
- Applicants are expected to fulfil the following criteria
Providing a clear and coherent strategy
- Defining concrete goals and objectives in such a way that success can be measured
- The 2025 grant application period will be accepted until 30 April 2025.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The project must be carried out on a golf course, professional turf or ornamental plant area or in cooperation with these areas. Projects that do not meet this requirement will not be evaluated.
