In accordance with Resolution 52/22 adopted by the United Nations Human Rights Council on 3 April 2023, the fifth session of the Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law Forum will be held in Geneva on 13-14 October 2025.
The theme of this year's session has been set as "Democracy and Climate Change: Focusing on Solutions." The session will discuss the impact of climate change on democracies and how democratic solutions can be developed in the face of this global crisis.
The registration process for the forum will begin in early August. At that time, the draft conceptual framework and agenda of the forum will also be shared with the public.
