The first project call for the Joint Grant Program has been launched. Civil society organizations operating in the field of culture and arts in Turkey will be able to apply to the program in partnership with at least one municipality.
Within the scope of the call, a total grant of 500,000 euros will be provided to projects aiming to redesign local cultural policies with participatory approaches, support production in the field of culture and arts, and foster fair collaborations.
The 5 main objectives of the grant program
- Participatory Policies: Support the creation of cultural policies at the local level that include everyone.
- Strong Collaborations: Develop projects that strengthen cooperation between NGOs and municipalities.
- Capacity Building: Empower culture professionals in the fields of cultural management and policy.
- Experience Sharing: Facilitate the flow of knowledge and experience between cities in Turkey and Europe.
- Common Cultural Space: Establish long-term ties with Europe based on diversity, inclusivity, and fundamental rights.
