Applications are now open for the training titled “Empowering Our Children: The Role of Education and STEM in Preventing Child, Early, and Forced Marriages.”

This training, which aims to contribute to the prevention of CEFM (Child, Early, and Forced Marriages) through a STEM approach, seeks to strengthen the role of parents in protecting children's rights and to support children's empowerment processes through education.

All parents and caregivers of children at secondary and high school level across Turkey can apply.

About the training

  • The training sessions will be conducted online and free of charge.
  • It consists of a single session lasting approximately 1 hour.
  • The same content will be repeated on different days and at different times; participants can choose the one session that suits them best.
  • During the training process, parents will be supported to take a more active role in children's access to education and their empowerment processes.
