Free Online Training Program for Teachers by SistersLab

SistersLab – Women in Science and Technology Association is organizing a free training program for teachers aimed at preventing child, early, and forced marriages (CEFM). The two-day online program, titled “Support Training Program for the Prevention of CEFM Through STEM,” aims to increase teachers' knowledge and awareness of the issue through STEM-based (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approaches.

The program focuses on how teachers can contribute within the educational setting to efforts aimed at preventing child and early forced marriages. After the trainings, it is planned that participating teachers will organize a transfer session for students and parents.

Teachers working at middle and high school levels throughout Turkey can apply to the program.

Training schedule

Under the program, two-day online trainings with the same content will be held on four different dates. Participants may only apply to one session. The dates are as follows:

  • March 7–8, 2026
  • April 11–12, 2026
  • April 25–26, 2026
  • May 16–17, 2026

Time: 11:00–18:00
Place: Online (Zoom)
Quota: 50 teachers per training session
