Grant Call to Support Armenia-Türkiye Normalization

Grant applications have been opened within the scope of the "Support to Armenia-Turkey Normalisation: Strengthening Cross-Border Connections" program, which is funded by the European Union and implemented by a consortium that includes the Hrant Dink Foundation.

The program aims to strengthen cross-border cooperation between Armenia and Turkey and to contribute to the development of economic, social, and cultural ties.

Within the scope of the call, projects will be provided with financial support ranging from 10,000 to 60,000 Euros. The projects to be supported under the call, with a total budget of 455,000 Euros, must last no longer than 11 months and be completed by August 31, 2027 at the latest.

What types of work will be supported?

Within the scope of the grant program;

  • Initiatives that strengthen economic cooperation, such as trade routes or business arrangements that create employment and growth,
  • Joint ventures, professional networks, and civil society alliances that can continue after the project ends,
  • Community projects and cultural exchange activities aimed at increasing trust and understanding at the local level,
  • Initiatives such as bilingual online platforms, cultural centers in border regions, and traveling photography exhibitions,
  • Advocacy campaigns and joint media content aimed at steering public discourse towards cooperation, will be supported.

Who can apply?

Non-profit organizations legally registered in Armenia and Turkey; NGOs, foundations, and similar entities can apply to this call. Applications from for-profit entities such as media organizations, medical centers, and consulting firms will also be accepted, provided the grant funds are not used for profit-making purposes.

Partnerships between organizations based in Armenia and Turkey are encouraged; priority will be given to applications that include such partnerships. Applications must be prepared in English.

The application deadline is July 30, 2026.
