Grant Support for NGOs Fighting the Effects of Industrial Animal Farming

Fueling Advocates Initiative (FAI) has announced its 2026 grant call to support civil society organizations working to combat the negative impacts of industrial livestock farming and the driving forces fueling this sector in low- and middle-income countries. Within the program, grants ranging from 6,000 to 24,000 USD are provided for projects with an implementation period of 9 months.

Supported activities / areas

NGOs are encouraged to utilize academic research and experts to strengthen their work with solid evidence and in-depth knowledge.

Sample activities: Collaborating with or seeking assistance from local academic experts in low- and middle-income countries, translating significant academic articles into another language, or covering the costs of including an academic specialist in the team.

Eligibility criteria 

NGOs located inside or outside the US 

Applicant organizations must be officially registered charities / civil society groups in their own countries and must have a structure equivalent to the United States’ 501(c)(3) (non-profit, tax-exempt) status.

Application Deadline: Concept Note applications are accepted between June 8 and June 30, 2026.
