The program focuses on small-scale and grassroots initiatives, providing grant support typically ranging from €5,000 to €10,000 depending on the selected projects and institutional needs.
Supported areas include combating violence against women, advocating for sexual and reproductive health rights, empowering young women, developing the institutional capacity of women’s organizations, advocacy initiatives, and activities to raise awareness through art and culture. Additionally, strengthening women’s networks in the Mediterranean region is among the program’s priorities.
Only civil society organizations and initiatives operating in the Mediterranean region (including Turkey) are eligible to apply. It is expected that the majority of these organizations are led by women and demonstrate a strong commitment to gender equality. Individual applications, political parties, and state institutions are not eligible.
Applications are open throughout the year and are evaluated three times a year. Deadlines for the evaluation periods:
