The Henry Moore Foundation offers various grant and scholarship programmes to support the development of sculpture and work in this field.
The Foundation's programmes are aimed at non-profit organisations and individual researchers.
Grant programmes for organisations
Grant programmes designed for non-profit organisations (museums, galleries, etc.) operating in the United Kingdom or internationally:
- New Projects, Exhibitions and Commissions: For exhibitions, catalogues and new commissions that encourage new thinking about sculpture.
- Collection Acquisitions and Development: For museums to add new sculpture works to their collections or preserve existing works.
- Conferences, Lectures, and Publications: For projects involving the publication of books or journals on sculpture art or the organisation of events.
- Long-Term Research Grants: For comprehensive research projects lasting more than one year.
Grant programmes for individuals
- Research and Travel Grants: This programme aims to support the research costs of individual applicants who are sculpture historians, academics and conservators.
- Who can apply: Sculpture historians, academics and conservators.
About application deadlines
Applications are evaluated four times a year for all programmes.
- Summer Term: 1 September 23:00 GMT
- Autumn Term: 1 December 23:00 GMT
- Winter Term: 1 March 23:00 GMT
- Spring Term: 1 June 23:00 GMT
