The Humphrey Program, which does not offer a diploma, provides academic and professional development opportunities for executives, planners, and specialists with leadership potential. While participating in special graduate-level study programs at host universities in the US, fellows also gain experience in their fields through professional visits, conferences, training, and internship programs lasting at least six weeks.
Within the program, scholarships will be awarded in the fields of communication and journalism, law and audit, natural resources policy, public and economic policy, public health policy, as well as technology policy and management.
The program will begin in August 2027 and will last for one academic year. The scholarship will cover round-trip transportation costs, education and living expenses, and health insurance for accepted fellows.
There is no mandatory service requirement in return for the scholarship. However, participants are required to return to Turkey after completing their program in the US, in accordance with J-1 visa regulations.
